Vortrag: Addressing the challenge of flexible work designs

Intervention transfer strategies for policy and practice

Vortrag von Alexandra MICHEL (Universität Heidelberg, BA für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin)

Abstract:

Flexible work designs provide a colourful mix of working from the office, home or other locations. While these arrangements can be beneficial, they also bring a number of challenges. Ms Michel will provide an overview of the dual effects of flexible work designs, highlighting both their positive aspects and potential downsides. She will delve into policy strategies that can minimize the potential downsides while enhancing positive aspects. Thereby, the FlexAbility
intervention approaches and supporting empirical evidence will be discussed, with a focus on helping workers and teams manage flexible work in a healthy, effective and resourceful manner. This talk is a cooperation with the Austrian Association of Psychologists BÖP.
